Andy Rice

Andy Rice has extensive experience in IT governance and operations, currently serving as the Head of Cloud Governance at Centrica since October 2009, where oversight of cloud computing across various platforms, particularly Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure, is a primary responsibility. Previously, Andy held the interim title of Director of Design & Engineering, managed AI Operations aimed at modernizing observability, and led UK&I Desktop Operations overseeing comprehensive end-user computing services. With a strong background in service desk management and continuous improvement, Andy has successfully managed large teams and significant budgets, ensuring high-quality service delivery for Centrica's extensive user base. Educational qualifications include a GNVQ Advanced Business from Basingstoke College of Technology.
