Brett Stevenson

Brett Stevenson currently serves as the Director of Internal Audit at Centrica, overseeing the internal audit portfolio for various subsidiaries within the Centrica Group since September 2023. Prior to this role, Brett was a Risk Consultant at National Grid ESO, providing strategic support during the transition to the Future System Operator. From October 2016 to June 2023, Brett held multiple senior positions at Cadent Gas Limited, culminating as Director of Audit and Risk, where responsibilities included the establishment of various assurance frameworks and leading audit teams. Earlier experiences include serving as a SHE and Data Privacy Barrister at National Grid, and practicing as a Barrister at Citadel Chambers, focusing on regulatory and safety matters. Brett holds an LLB Honours Law Degree from the University of Dundee and completed the Bar Vocational Course at Nottingham Trent University.
