Colin McDermid

Colin McDermid is an accomplished professional in talent development and training, currently serving as the Emerging Talent Lead at Centrica since March 2008. In this role, Colin is integral to the Performance & Talent team, focusing on the delivery of 3500 apprenticeships aligned with the company's People & Planet Plan commitments for 2030. Previous positions held include Early Careers Manager and Learning Design Manager, where management of teams responsible for creating diverse training media was a key focus. Prior to Centrica, Colin worked at British Gas as Apprenticeship Manager and Project Manager, contributing to the Domestic Energy Assessor qualification program and overseeing a team at the British Gas Engineering Academy. Educational qualifications include a PRINCE2 certification and an HND in Interactive Computing & Web Development.
