David Kirwan

David Kirwan is a seasoned executive in the energy sector, currently serving as Managing Director of Centrica Power and Country Chair of Bord Gáis Energy, alongside roles as Chair of Focus Ireland's Philanthropy Council and Non-Executive Director at EDF Energy Nuclear Generation Group Limited. With extensive experience in both operational and strategic capacities, Kirwan has previously held multiple leadership positions, including Managing Director at Bord Gáis Energy and Managing Director UK Home at Centrica. Kirwan's career began in engineering consultancy, evolving through roles in commercial management and business development in the energy industry. Kirwan holds a Doctorate in Business Administration and an MBA from University College Cork, as well as an engineering degree from University College Dublin.
