David Linnard

David Linnard is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in risk management, internal audit, and governance. Currently serving as Principal Consultant at Risk Perspective since April 2013, David has a background as COO for Internal Audit at Centrica and previously held the position of VP Internal Audit at Direct Energy. Prior to these roles, David worked at Risk Perspective as a Consultant specializing in Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance, and at Wood Mackenzie as an Associate Consultant focused on Pemex E&P. David’s tenure at BP spanned over a decade, during which time important roles included Internal Audit Resource Manager, Regional Audit Manager, and Audit Relationship Manager. David began the professional journey as Business Development Manager at BP Brasil, overseeing strategic access and regulatory affairs in Mexico. David holds a Master’s degree in Geology from the University of Oxford.
