Emma Poole

Emma Poole currently serves as the Group Head of Enterprise Risk & Controls at Centrica PLC, a position held since December 2021, where accountability includes defining, monitoring, and reporting on the Group-wide Enterprise Risk Framework and Internal Financial Control requirements. With extensive experience at Centrica since 2003, roles have included Enterprise Risk & Controls Manager, Internal Audit Operations Manager, and Internal Audit Director, focusing on resource and financial management, delivery monitoring, reporting efficiency, continuous improvement, and team engagement. Prior to Centrica, Emma Poole worked as the European Reporting Manager at GE Commercial Finance and as a Manager at Ernst & Young in Toronto. Emma Poole holds a BSc in Mathematical Sciences from the University of Bath.
