Gareth O. serves as Vice President of MAP at Centrica since September 2023, overseeing a leading FTSE 100 company with diverse energy and service solutions. Previously, Gareth held the position of Managing Director at UW Home Services from August 2018 to March 2022, and has extensive consulting experience as Principal Consultant at Red Shield Consulting Ltd from June 2017 to May 2021. Gareth's expertise in smart metering developed further as Smart Metering Development Director at SMS Plc. from March 2016 to May 2017, and as Co-Founder of Utilities Academy between April 2014 and March 2016. As Founder and Managing Director of Trojan Utilities, the company became a market leader in domestic smart meter installation before a successful exit in 2016. Early career experiences include founding Trojan Heating & Maintenance, involvement in pioneering smart meter initiatives at PH Jones, and a decade of service in the British Army. Gareth holds a degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Bolton College.
