Harry Savell has extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as Head of Technical Development at Centrica since September 2015. In this role, Harry manages the development of a 50 MW reciprocating engine power plant and has led technical efforts for a 40 MW battery storage facility bid in Ireland's DS3 frequency response programme. Previous positions include Mechanical Project Engineer for the King's Lynn Replant Project, focusing on significant water-steam-cycle upgrades, and Wind Turbine Engineer, overseeing mechanical operations for 480 MW of wind turbines. Harry's career at Centrica also includes delivering critical projects related to asset integrity and acting as the client representative in various engineering endeavors. Harry began with Centrica Energy in 2013 after earning a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cambridge in 2013.
