Iain McKenzie

Iain McKenzie is an accomplished operations leader with extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as the Director of Customer Delivery at Centrica since June 2023. In this role, Iain manages a large-scale field operation with a budget of approximately £100 million, overseeing around one million in-home customer visits annually for gas maintenance, service, and repair. Prior to this position, Iain held various roles at British Gas from 2009 to July 2023, including Head of Operational Support, where leadership was provided to desk-based operational and insights teams supporting a field team of 6,000 colleagues. Additional roles included Senior Operations Manager, District Manager, and Service Manager, showcasing expertise in delivering industry-leading customer experiences in cost-sensitive environments. Iain holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, Management, and Operations from the University of Leeds.
