Mark Cobley

Mark Cobley is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in engineering and technical leadership within the energy sector, currently serving as Lead Azure Engineer at Centrica since July 2018. In this role, Mark manages the development and security of Azure-based document storage solutions while overseeing a team of five staff. Prior to this, Mark held the position of Correspondence Process Controls Lead at Centrica, enhancing customer service engagements through streamlined document management. With a background in managing customer correspondence repositories at British Gas and various roles in data management and business analysis, Mark has a solid foundation in database technologies and user experience optimization. Mark holds an MSc in Human-Computer Systems from De Montfort University and a BSc in Mathematics, Statistics & Computer Science from Coventry University.
