Matt Hockaday

Matt Hockaday has extensive experience in leadership roles within the utilities sector, currently serving as the Head of Partner Customer Delivery and Director of Dyno-Rod at Centrica since January 2017. Responsibilities include managing a high-performing team focused on business readiness and deployment for UK&I Field Operations, alongside overseeing the 'Change Contention' control function for project deployments. Prior to this, Matt held various leadership positions at British Gas from 2009 to January 2017, including Head of Business Innovation for HomeCare and Head of Business Excellence for Electrical Services, where efforts centered on growth and efficiency in alignment with strategic plans. Earlier roles include Change Manager at Centrica and Six Sigma Project Manager at British Gas, showcasing a strong background in change management and process improvement. Matt Hockaday earned an MA in Biotech Law & Ethics and a BA in Anthropology & Archaeology from the University of Sheffield.
