Matthew Thompson

Matthew Thompson is an experienced professional in compliance and financial services, currently serving as the Head of Financial Services Compliance at Centrica since November 2022. Prior to this role, Matthew held senior positions at the Financial Conduct Authority from June 2011 to December 2022, including Manager and Lead Associate. Matthew's career also includes experience as a Regional Account Manager at Prudential Assurance from June 2008 to June 2011 and as a Retail Financial Advisor at Lloyds Banking Group from June 2004 to June 2008. Matthew earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Management Science from the University of Hertfordshire between 2001 and 2004.
