Scott Rae

Scott Rae currently serves as the Internal Audit Director for Trading & Commodity Risk at Centrica, a position held since April 2017. In this role, Scott collaborates with senior leadership across the UK, Ireland, and Europe to ensure effective and safe operating environments within Centrica's trading activities. Prior to this, Scott held several roles at Centrica, including Internal Audit Manager and Internal Auditor, where responsibilities included delivering audits and providing assurance to the Audit Committee. Scott's career began in 2005 as a Graduate Management Trainee, followed by positions such as Senior Portfolio Shift Trader and Portfolio Shift Trader, focusing on gas and power trading. Educationally, Scott holds a BA (Hons) in Economics from the University of Strathclyde, where leadership experience was also gained as the Sports Union President.
