Steve Burns is a seasoned professional in the LNG industry, currently serving as the Head of LNG Operations at Centrica since November 2021 and transitioning into retirement in January 2025. With a robust background, Steve previously held the position of Fleet Manager at Shell from June 2015 to March 2021 and managed the Fleet Support Division at Qatargas between January 2010 and June 2015. While at Qatargas, Steve ensured the effective provision of specialist services for the Shipping and Marketing business and oversaw the management of critical projects related to new vessel construction in support of Qatar LNG expansion programs. Steve holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from the University of Strathclyde, earned between September 1984 and June 1986.
