Tom Pakenham

Tom Pakenham is currently serving as the Commercial Director for New Business and Net Zero at Centrica, focusing on facilitating the transition to zero carbon energy for British households. As the founder of AdaptationUK, Tom is dedicated to accelerating climate change adaptation efforts in the UK. Additionally, Tom holds the position of Chair at Longford Trust and was previously the Managing Director of ChargeLight, where Tom contributed to advancements in energy technology. Tom has significant experience in the electric vehicle sector, having worked as a Smart and Bi-directional EV Charging Specialist and Director at Kaluza, along with holding roles in policy and public affairs at OVO. Tom's early career included foundational roles at Green Tomato Cars Limited and Slaughter and May. Tom earned a MA in History from the University of Cambridge and completed legal studies at BPP Law School.
