Daniel S. Berkowitz is a seasoned hydrometeorologist currently serving as a radar rainfall estimation specialist at Centuria since October 2017 and as a hydrometeorologist/software developer at the National Weather Service Radar Operations Center since March 1991. Daniel's expertise includes radar rainfall estimation, clutter mitigation, and tropical cyclone monitoring. Notably, Daniel was the lead editor of the WSR-88D Tropical Cyclone Operations Plan and has extensive teaching experience in weather radar theory and other meteorological subjects.
