Sam Cook

Sam Cook is a skilled software developer with experience in developing and maintaining software for radar systems and automated translation software. Currently serving as a Software Developer II at the Radar Operations Center since February 2023, Sam contributes to the National Weather Service's WSR-88D weather surveillance radar systems and participates in software planning and data quality meetings. Prior roles include Software Integration Specialist at Intelek Technologies, where custom software requirements were implemented for EDI translation systems, and Software Engineer at Tinker Airforce Base, focusing on software for USAF E-3 AWACS radar training simulators. Earlier experience includes a diverse position at Oklahoma Robotics, encompassing software development, web development, and fabrication labor. Sam holds a certification in Web Development from Epicodus, completed in November 2019.
