Qi Sun

Qi Sun has worked in the technology industry since 2005. Qi began their career as an Engineer at Boco Inter-Telecom. In 2007, they joined Motorola Mobile Devices as a Senior Engineer and Team Lead, where they were responsible for the implementation of mobile devices customization tools for both Linux Java and Android platforms. In 2011, they became Technical Manager at CIeNET Technologies, where they designed and implemented solutions for enterprise private clouds based on OpenStack. Qi also worked with business development teams to communicate with potential customers and partners in cloud computing. In 2013, they Co-Founded Huron Technologies and in 2016, they Co-Founded and became CTO of PropheTech. In 2014, they Co-Founded the Ceph China Community and was its Lead. Finally, in 2019, they Co-Founded OnePro Cloud and became its CTO. As CTO, they took charge in development management, project management, and pre-sales and sales support. Qi also had more than 10 years of experience in cloud solutions and good relationships with the cloud computing ecosystem. Under their lead, OnePro provided Cloud Native Migration & DR products.

Qi Sun obtained a Master's Degree in Project Management from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications in 2014. Prior to that, they earned a BS in Information Management and Information System from Tianjin Polytechnic University in 2005. Qi also holds three certifications: Tencent Cloud MVP (obtained in April 2020), AliCloud MVP (obtained in December 2019), and AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional (obtained in July 2020).
