Elyse Chen

Elyse Chen is a skilled manager in supplier engineering, currently leading a team at Cepheid since July 2020, where responsibilities include overseeing supplier development engineers and managing sourcing and supplier quality activities. Previously, Elyse served as a Senior Supplier Development Engineer, contributing to supplier development initiatives at Cepheid, and as a Supplier Engineer at Boston Scientific, where pioneering efforts were made in the photonics commodity. Elyse's background also includes roles at Lam Research, where supply support and quality improvement were emphasized, and numerous internships at ExxonMobil, focused on catalyst technology and fuels conversion. Academically, Elyse holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Stanford University and a BS in Chemical Engineering and Psychology from Carnegie Mellon University.
