Jonathan Huber

Jonathan Huber is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as the Manager of Product Reliability at Cepheid since June 2017. In this role, Jonathan leads an engineering team focused on deploying new components and workflows for plastics subassembly manufacturing across more than 20 products and supports systemic investigations to enhance customer quality. Prior to this position, Jonathan worked as a Senior Failure Investigation Engineer, managing manufacturing readiness and process improvements for three new ISO-certified factories. Jonathan's earlier roles include serving as a Failure Investigation Engineer, where Jonathan led field investigations to minimize complaints and enhance manufacturing processes, and as a Failure Investigation Intern, supporting improvements in test methods. Before joining Cepheid, Jonathan was a Research Student at The Fuller Lab, where Jonathan researched peptoids for water contamination sensing, contributing to two publications and earning a leadership stipend. Jonathan holds a Bachelor's Degree in Bioengineering and Mechanical Engineering from Santa Clara University.
