Mandy Sin is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in systems engineering and biomedical research. Currently serving as a Sr. Staff Systems Engineer at Cepheid since June 2017, Mandy has also held the roles of Sr. System Integration Engineer and Scientist in Infectious Diseases R&D. Prior experience includes a position as a Research Scientist at Stanford University School of Medicine, where collaborations with Cepheid focused on validating a 3-biomarker panel for bladder cancer diagnostics. Mandy's research efforts during a postdoctoral fellowship resulted in the development of clinical protocols and significant advancements in bladder cancer biomarker discovery using next-generation sequencing. Mandy holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Arizona, obtained in 2011.
