Peter Farrell

Peter Farrell serves as the Executive Vice President at Cepheid, where responsibilities encompass global commercial operations for the leading molecular diagnostic company since June 2014. Prior to this role, Farrell held various positions at Abbott, ultimately becoming Divisional Vice President and General Manager for Abbott Point of Care, overseeing worldwide commercial operations for a $400 million business. Peter's earlier experience includes serving as Executive Vice President at iCAD Inc. and CADx, where strategic planning for worldwide operations was key, and as National Sales Manager for Abbott Diagnostics in Canada. Farrell's career began in sales at Rhone Poulenc Pharma and as a researcher at the Hamilton Regional Virology Laboratory. Educationally, Farrell holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Virology from Western University.
