Tom Gutshall

Tom Gutshall is a seasoned professional with extensive leadership experience in the biotech and pharmaceutical industries. They served as President of Syva from 1983 to 1985, and then held the position of Executive Vice President at Syntex Corp from 1989 to 1994. Additionally, Tom was the Chief Operating Officer at CV Therapeutics from 1994 to 1996 and later became Chairman at Cepheid, where they also co-founded the company and served from 1996 to 2009. Since 1986, Tom has been the Chairman of CityTeam Ministries and was a Board Member at PROFUSA from 2012 to 2015. They earned a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Delaware and are currently pursuing Marketing Management studies at Harvard Business School.
