Peter Sands

Peter Sands is the Executive Director at The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, a position held since 2018. They are also currently an Advisory Board Member at Kensho Technologies and hold various roles at Harvard University, including Senior Fellow at the Kennedy School. Previously, Peter served as Group Chief Executive of Standard Chartered Bank from 2006 to 2015 and was a Partner at McKinsey & Company from 1996 to 1999. Their extensive experience includes leadership roles in health and finance, alongside significant positions in global health initiatives.
