Franz Mayer

Franz Mayer is currently the Lead Buyer for Technical Equipment at CeramTec – Die Keramik-Experten, a position held since November 2023. Previously, Franz Mayer served as the Global Lead Buyer for CAPEX and Additive Manufacturing at OECHSLER from October 2022 to November 2023, having worked at OECHSLER AG for over 16 years in various roles, including Lead Buyer for Additive Manufacturing and Surface Technology, Senior Projektmanager, and Projekt und Produktmanager. Franz Mayer's early career involved positions as a Fertigungsplaner and Verfahrensmechaniker in the plastic and rubber industry. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Strategic Management from Hochschule Ansbach - University of Applied Sciences and a degree as an Industriemeister in Plastic and Rubber from IHK Würzburg.
