Tim Benoit-Ledoux has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Tim started their career as a Public Affairs and Constituent Intern for U.S. Senator Bill Nelson in 2006. Later, they served as a Legal Intern at the Juvenile Justice Center of Orange County in 2007. In 2009, they worked as a Law Clerk for Joanne V. Davidson, where they gained hands-on experience in family and juvenile law matters.

In 2010, Tim Benoit-Ledoux furthered their legal career by working as a Student Attorney at the UNH Intellectual Property & Transaction Clinic. During this time, they performed various tasks such as trademark searches, completing USPTO e-filings, and drafting trademark applications.

Following their role as a Student Attorney, Tim joined Saunders & Silverstein LLP as a Law Clerk. Here, they provided legal support to an intellectual property firm by drafting contracts, licensing agreements, and assisting with trademark prosecution.

In 2012, Tim became the Licensing Manager at the University of New Hampshire. In this position, they managed the intellectual property and licensing of various technology innovations and creative works. Tim was responsible for developing and executing commercialization strategies, drafting and negotiating license agreements, and material transfer agreements.

After four years at the University of New Hampshire, Tim joined Vapotherm as a Senior Legal Counsel in 2016. In this role, they provided broad legal support to various divisions and departments within the company, including Commercial Operations, Marketing, Science and Innovation, Research and Development, Manufacturing, Human Resources, and Regulatory Affairs. Their responsibilities included drafting and negotiating contracts, managing the intellectual property portfolio, and providing guidance on compliance matters.

In 2020, Tim moved to Beta Bionics as the VP, Legal & Compliance. Tim was responsible for managing all legal and compliance affairs of the organization. Tim worked closely with the CEO and other members of the C-Suite on strategic business matters. Additionally, they managed a team of legal and compliance professionals, oversaw the department's day-to-day operations, and actively led the legal review process. Tim also handled contract drafting, reviewing, and negotiation, including clinical trial agreements, consulting agreements, and partnership agreements.

Most recently, Tim joined Cerapedics Inc. in 2023 as an Associate General Counsel. Further details on this role are not provided.

Tim Benoit-Ledoux holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science: Pre-Law from the University of Central Florida. Tim also obtained a Juris Doctor (JD) degree with a specialization in Intellectual Property from the University of New Hampshire, School of Law. In addition to their formal education, Tim has pursued various certifications, including the Lean LaunchPad Educators Program from VentureWell (obtained in November 2015), Advanced Licensing Agreements from Practicing Law Institute (obtained in April 2014), an Advanced Marketing Course from the Association of University Technology Managers (obtained in March 2013), and the Grantsmanship Training Program from The Grantsmanship Center (obtained in March 2013). Tim is also a member of the New Hampshire Bar, having obtained their certification from the New Hampshire Bar Association in November 2011.
