Charith Ellawala

Charith E. has worked in the software engineering and development field since 2008. Charith began their career at Ocado as a Software Developer (Data Warehouse and Customer Communications). In 2012, they joined Qubit. as a Software Engineer (Platform) and was later promoted to Tech Lead - Backend Engineering. In 2019, they moved to Elastic as a Senior Software Engineer (Cloud) and Pusher as a Senior Software Engineer (Platform Services). Most recently, in 2021, they became CTO & Co-founder of Cerbos.

Charith E. began their educational journey in 2003 when they enrolled in Monash University and earned a BSc in Computer Science in 2006. In 2007, they continued their studies at UCL, earning an MSc in Information Security in 2008. Additionally, they obtained a Sun Certified Java Programmer certification from Sun Microsystems.
