Cerco employees provide a flexible resource throughout the UK and Ireland for employer partners, from smaller SMEs to large global corporations. Both permanent and temporary opportunities are available, and you could be hired from one day short term jobs to long term, open ended placements. At Cerco we look for customer-focused people with a ‘can do’ attitude plus hardware and network skills. During the initial assessment process and training course we will consider your ability and potential to help us decide on the most suitable opportunities for you.
Roles such as technicians or service desk support are often the first steps into the industry and require strong interpersonal skills and good Windows understanding. Positions like deployment engineers work as part of a team to deliver software upgrades, for example Windows 10.
If you have at least 12 months industry experience you may be placed as a floorwalker, desk-side or retail EPOS engineer. These types of roles need strong interpersonal and technical skills, and high levels of manual dexterity.
Applicants with good skills and a proven track record of leading or managing could be placed in team leader roles. This type of opportunity is often a great fit for ex Forces candidates.
Aside from core services, we also look for individuals with strong fibre optic and cabling experience, as well as people that can cover Audio Visual (AV) installations.
