Bob Schultz

Bob Schultz is an experienced engineer specializing in ASIC and FPGA development, currently serving as Principal Engineer at Cerebras Systems since June 2018, focusing on wafer-scale ASIC and FPGA development for machine learning. Previously, Bob worked as a Senior Design Engineer at Apple for three years, contributing to ASIC and FPGA development for upcoming products. At Alcatel-Lucent, from May 2006 to July 2015, Bob held the roles of Principal Engineer and Senior ASIC Design Manager, overseeing the architecture and design of complex ASICs and SOC FPGAs for networking and storage solutions. Bob's career also includes significant positions at Riverstone Networks, Intel Corporation, and Panasonic, showcasing a strong foundation in hardware engineering, design management, and system integration. Bob holds both a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from The Ohio State University.
