Marko Bauer has a diverse work experience in the fields of machine learning, data engineering, and research. Marko first worked as a Student Developer at Ericsson, where they supported product developers and maintained development environments. Marko then served as a Teaching Assistant at Københavns Universitet, where they assisted with an Algorithms and Data Structures course.

Marko went on to work as a Research Assistant at the same university, focusing on machine learning and exploring various methods for brain MRI segmentation and classification. Marko also worked as a Student Researcher at CEREBRIU, where they curated and processed brain MRI data and implemented deep learning models.

Currently, Marko is a Machine Learning & Data Engineer at CEREBRIU, where they design and implements data processing pipelines for clinical data. Marko also analyzes and maintains cloud-based services on Oracle Cloud and AWS.

Throughout their career, Marko has demonstrated proficiency in data analysis, deep learning, cloud computing, and research.

Marko Bauer completed their high school education at Jovan Jovanovic Zmaj Grammar School from 2013 to 2017, where they earned their High School Diploma focusing on the Program for Students Talented in Mathematics. Marko then pursued their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at Eötvös Loránd University from 2017 to 2020. Following this, Marko furthered their education by obtaining a Master's degree in Computer Science from Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen between the years 2020 and 2022.
