Mathias Perslev has a diverse range of work experience, starting with their role as a Swimming Instructor at Svømmeklubben Triton Ballerup from June 2010 to June 2012. Mathias then worked as a Ski Instructor at Schneesport Akademie Ischgl from December 2012 to April 2013.

Mathias'sresearch focused on machine learning for medical applications, segmentation problems in medical image and physiological time-series domains, and spatiotemporal sleep dynamics in health and disease.

In 2022, Mathias spent some time as a Visiting Researcher at Harvard Medical School. Mathias'smost recent position was as a Machine Learning Researcher at CEREBRIU, starting in May 2023.

Mathias Perslev obtained their Bachelor's degree in Biology, General from Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen in 2016. Mathias then pursued a Master's degree in Bioinformatics from the same university, completing it in 2018. In 2015, they participated in a student exchange program at McGill University. Additionally, in 2012, they received a Basic Ski Instructor certification from Oure Sport & Performance, specializing in Sports and Exercise.
