Brian Blischak

Brian Blischak has a wealth of experience in the medical and healthcare industry. Brian is currently serving as the President of CereGate since November 2019. Prior to that, they were the President & Chief Commercial Officer at Nexeon MedSystems, Inc. from October 2015 to November 2018. At Nexeon MedSystems, Brian led global commercial operations and product development teams across four countries. Brian also held the position of Vice President Sales & Marketing at ImThera Medical, Inc. from December 2011 to August 2015, where they played a key role in the acquisition of the company by LivaNova for $225M. Before that, Brian held various leadership roles at St. Jude Medical Neuromodulation Division, including Vice President of Neurological Therapies from April 2008 to November 2011, Director of Neurological Therapies from March 2005 to April 2008, and Director of Implantable Infusion Therapies from April 1999 to March 2005. Brian also has a brief experience at Search Terms in 1998. Overall, Brian has demonstrated a successful track record in leadership and expertise in the medical device industry.

Brian Blischak completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Physics at the University of Saskatchewan from 1982 to 1986. Brian then went on to pursue a Master of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin, which they completed from 1990 to 1992. Following this, Brian obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the same institution between 1991 and 1993.
