Raphael Antoine

Raphael Antoine is a geophysics research director and senior reservist officer in the French Army. They completed a doctorate at Observatoire Midi-Pyrénées, focusing on numerical modeling of aero-thermal phenomena in planetary volcanic systems. Raphael has served as a researcher at Cerema since 2011, developing methodologies for soil characterization using drone and satellite data, and specializing in thermal infrared imaging. They also held a postdoctoral researcher position at the University of Tokyo, studying hydrodynamic and geophysical aspects of volcanic systems. Raphael's academic background includes multiple degrees from Université Paul Sabatier Toulouse III and Université de La Réunion.
