Christian Benien

Christian Benien is a Senior Cloud Software Architect at Cerence Inc. since October 2019, previously holding the same position at Nuance Communications from October 2017 to October 2019. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Software Architect at Philips Lighting, where Christian developed the cloud-based CityTouch asset- and telemanagement system for public street lighting, focusing on connectivity, performance, scalability, and security. At Philips 3D Solutions, Christian worked as a Software Architect on 3D video file formats and cloud-based web application development. Earlier roles include Software Architect at Philips Home Dialogue Systems, contributing to speech recognition algorithms and core modules.
