Franco Ravera

Franco Ravera is a seasoned professional in the field of Natural Language Understanding (NLU) with extensive experience in the automotive sector. Currently serving as Manager of NLU Models at Cerence Inc. since October 2019, Franco previously held the role of Senior Speech Scientist in Embedded Automotive Professional Services at Nuance Communications from November 2011 to October 2019. Franco's career began at CSELT, the research center of Telecom Italia, where Franco worked as a researcher from August 1992 to December 2000, followed by a position at Telecom Italia Lab from December 2000 to February 2001. Franco contributed as a Senior Researcher at Loquendo from February 2001 to November 2011. Franco obtained a Master's degree in Electronics Engineering from Politecnico di Torino from 1985 to 1992, after earning a Scientific high school degree from Liceo Scientifico Galileo Ferraris Torino from 1979 to 1984.
