Kathryn Linden

Principal Product R&d Engineer at Cerence

Kathryn Linden has a strong background in speech software development and linguistics. Kathryn is currently working as a Principal Product R&D Engineer at Cerence Inc. Prior to this, they held various roles at Nuance Communications, including Principal Language Engineer, Computational Linguist, and Senior Speech Scientist. In these positions, they designed and implemented speech software interfaces for automotive customers, worked with Tier 1 suppliers and OEMs to develop speech user interfaces, and supported phonetic transcriptions projects. Kathryn also worked as an Administrative Assistant at Columbia University.

Kathryn Linden completed their MSc in Speech and Language Processing from The University of Edinburgh in 2008. Prior to that, they obtained their BS in Linguistics and General Biology from the University of Michigan between 1998 and 2002.
