Kuldeep Singh

Kuldeep Singh, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience that includes roles in product management, technical product management, innovation management, and research. From 2019 to the present, they have been working at Cerence Inc., where they served as a Director of Product Management, leading the development and launch of the ChatGPT integration in Volkswagen vehicles. Kuldeep also held the position of Principal Product Manager, focusing on conversational AI products for digital transformation. During this time, they provided subject matter expertise on the use of LLMs and Generative-AI and developed monetization-based business models. From 2020 to 2022, they were a Senior Technical Product Manager at Cerence Inc., responsible for automotive conversational AI products. Prior to joining Cerence Inc., Kuldeep Singh worked at Nuance Automotive as a Senior Technical Product Manager in 2019. Before that, they worked at Fraunhofer IAIS as a Senior Researcher and EU-Researcher, where they focused on projects involving machine learning and knowledge graph applications. Kuldeep also served as a Marie Sklodowska-Curie Research Fellow at Fraunhofer IAIS. Additionally, Kuldeep Singh has experience in business technology analysis at Deloitte, where they worked on projects involving the Siebel CRM platform and automation of business transactions.

Kuldeep Singh, Ph.D., began their education by completing their Upper Primary education at Pratap School in India from 1999 to 2002. Kuldeep then pursued their B.TECH in Computer Science & Engineering at Vellore Institute of Technology from 2007 to 2011. Moving on, they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) with a double degree in Distributed Systems and Services from EIT Digital Alumni, studying from 2013 to 2015. Kuldeep further expanded their knowledge in this field by completing a Master of Science (MSc) at Technische Universität Berlin in 2013-2014. Afterwards, they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Distributed Systems and Services with a specialization in Mobile Services at Aalto University from 2014 to 2015. Finally, they attained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science from The University of Bonn, studying from 2015 to 2019.
