Mudassir Rasool

Mudassir Rasool has extensive work experience in project management and software engineering. Mudassir is currently employed at Cerence Inc. as a Principal Project Manager since January 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Project Manager at Cerence Inc. from October 2019 to December 2020. Before joining Cerence Inc., Mudassir worked at Nuance Communications, where they held the positions of Technical Project Manager from October 2017 to September 2019 and Senior Software Engineer from May 2010 to September 2017. Mudassir was involved in various projects, including the development of speech recognition technology for Daimler NTG6 in Mercedes A class, S class, GLE, and others. Mudassir also had a student job at RWTH Aachen University from October 2007 to April 2009. Mudassir started their career at Mentor Graphics as a Software Engineer, where they worked in the Tools/Debuggers Team and later in the USB/Device Drivers Team. Their responsibilities included test engineering, writing demo applications, and debugging implemented drivers for middle ware using NUCLEUS RTOS.

Mudassir Rasool completed a Master's degree in Computer Software Engineering from RWTH Aachen University from 2007 to 2009. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore, between 2002 and 2005. Mudassir started their education with a Foundation degree in Pre-Engineering from Government College University (GCU), Lahore, which they completed from 1998 to 2000.
