Nuno Diniz has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Nuno began their career in 2004 with a teaching position at the Portuguese Ministry of Education. In 2008, they transitioned to the field of research, working as a Researcher PhD Candidate at Ghent University. During this time, they published papers on biofeedback and embodied music interaction. In 2013, Nuno joined Nuance Communications as a Senior Software Engineer, where they worked until 2019. Then, they joined Cerence Inc. as a Senior Research Engineer and later became a Principal Product R&D Engineer.
Nuno Diniz has a PhD in Art Science from Ghent University. Nuno also holds a Licenciatura degree in Information Systems and Computer Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico. Additionally, they have completed an 8-year program in Music theory at EMNSC Music School.
