Vania La Rocca has a diverse work experience in various companies. Vania currently works at Cerence Inc. as the Director of Product Operations, where they are responsible for the strategy and roadmap of the Cerence Output AI Product Line. Prior to this, they held roles such as Product Operations Lead and Principal Product Manager at the same company. Vania also worked at Nuance Communications as a Product Manager. Vania has experience in project management as a Project Manager at Tierra S.p.A., and as an Application Engineer at Mentor Graphics, where they focused on the Italian Automotive Market. Vania also worked at Magneti Marelli as a Domain Leader/Feature Reference, managing stability tickets and leading a team. Vania started their career at Teoresi srl as a Consultant and Software Supplier Manager, and at Blue Reply as an IT Consultant and J2EE Developer. Vania also interned at NORDUnet and Uniteam.

Vania La Rocca completed their education at Politecnico di Torino. Vania obtained a Bachelor's degree in Ingegneria delle Telecomunicazioni from 2003 to 2006, followed by a Master's degree in Ingegneria Telematica from 2006 to 2008. Prior to their university education, they completed their Maturità Classica at Liceo Classico Carlo Botta from 1998 to 2003. Additionally, they obtained a certification as a Product Focus Certified Product Manager from Product Focus in 2020. Vania has also earned multiple certifications from Coursera, including Advanced Competitive Strategy, Emotions: a Philosophical Introduction, Intelligence Tools for the Digital Age, Mindware: Critical Thinking for the Information Age, Strategic Organization Design, Business Implications of AI: A Nano-course, Creativity and A.I.
