Xin Lu

Xin Lu is a skilled researcher and manager currently serving as the Manager of NLU Research Applications and Solutions at Cerence Inc. They previously held positions at Nuance Communications as a Research Manager and Principal Research Scientist, focusing on data-driven NLU solutions for virtual assistance applications. Xin began their career as a Research Intern at Microsoft Research Asia, where they contributed to the development of the first bilingual Text-To-Speech system. With a strong academic background, Xin earned a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Chicago, following their Master's and Bachelor's degrees in the same field from Harbin Institute of Technology.
