Peter Smith

Peter Smith is an experienced engineer with a diverse background in manufacturing and project management. Currently serving as an Industrialisation and Senior Manufacturing Engineer at Ceres Power, Peter specializes in the development of highly efficient fuel cells for domestic use. Previous experience includes a role as M + E Contracts Manager at Mechon Ltd, focusing on environmental air movement systems, and a long tenure at Edwards, where Peter was a Senior Manufacturing & Facilities Engineer involved in precision machined high vacuum pumps. Earlier positions include roles in computer integrated manufacturing at Kennametal-Erickson and CADCAM development at Lucas Aerospace. Peter holds a Diploma in Engineering Management from I.Mech.E / Bath University, a Master of Philosophy from Aston University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Nottingham University.
