Carolyn Ching is the Director of Research for the Food and Forests team at Ceres, where they lead initiatives aimed at reducing climate and nature impacts in food systems. With deep expertise in natural climate solutions and sustainable farming, Carolyn has held positions at Verra and AEI Consultants, managing projects and developing methodologies for climate mitigation. They possess a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science from Boston University and a Master's degree in Environmental Science and Management from the Bren School at UC Santa Barbara. Carolyn relocated to Seattle after completing a world bicycle tour, and they are currently focused on conserving farmland in Washington State.
