John Ney serves as an Assistant Professor of Neurology at Yale University and directs the VA Headache Centers of Excellence, NorthEast Regional Consortium. In addition, John holds the position of Associate Editor for Neurology Clinical Practice at Wolters Kluwer and reviews grant proposals for the VA HSRD Scientific Merit Review Board. Consulting roles include conducting cost-effectiveness analyses for intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring at SpecialtyCare, evaluating reimbursement potential for a novel EEG device at Ceribell, Inc., and performing cost-effectiveness analyses for a podiatric surgical device at JEM Research Institute. Prior experience includes serving as an Assistant Professor at Boston University and leading the Pain Section of the VA VISN 01 Clinical Resource Hub. John Ney earned a Master of Public Health from the University of Washington and a Doctor of Medicine from Tulane University School of Medicine.
