Adel Trabelsi serves as the Director General at the Centre National des Sciences et Technologies Nucléaires since August 2019 and holds the position of Team Leader at CERN, contributing to the OPERA, RD51, and CMS collaborations since January 2009. Additionally, Adel Trabelsi is the President of the Société Tunisienne de Physique and a Full Professor at the University of Tunis El Manar, where the individual leads the Nuclear and High Energy Physics Group. Previous roles include Head of the Physics Department at the Faculté des Sciences de Tunis and a Full Professor at King Faisal University. Adel Trabelsi has also been an Expert Peer Reviewer for Radiation Physics and Chemistry and other scientific journals. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Particle Physics/Theoretical Physics from Université Paris Cité, alongside various degrees in Physics and Higher Education.
