Alberto Mengoni

Alberto Mengoni is an experienced researcher in nuclear sciences and applications, currently serving as the Spokesperson of the n_TOF Collaboration and Chair of the Collaboration Board at CERN. They have a strong background in physics, demonstrated through various roles, including as a Scientific Associate at CERN and as a Unit Head at the IAEA. Alberto has conducted significant research at institutions such as the Japan Atomic Energy Research Institute and RIKEN, focusing on topics including nuclear astrophysics and exotic nuclei. They also have experience in academia, having lectured at the Universita' di Ancona and contributed to material science research. Alberto holds a Doctorate in Physics from the Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna.
