Alejandro Martín

Mechanical Engineer For Atlas Itk

Alejandro Martín is a Mechanical Engineer currently employed at CERN as part of the ATLAS ITk team, with a focus on designing components for ATLAS ITK Services and developing a new chassis and coldbox for the MALTA telescope. Prior experience includes project management of bulk handling facilities at Grupo Navec, on-site supervision of tourist circuits as a trip coordinator at Diwoto, and mechanical engineering work on the transmission system of the electric racing prototype UPM04e with UPM Racing. Alejandro has also interned at the National Institute of Aerospace Technology, contributing to the manufacturing of the UPM04e carbon fiber monocoque chassis, and held the position of president of the RESET student association. Educationally, Alejandro holds a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering and Mechanical Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, complemented by a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Linköping University as part of the Erasmus+ program and a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Technology Engineering. Additional qualifications include advanced professional training in the automotive industry.
