Software Engineer

Alexandre Boyer is a Software Engineer with extensive experience in managing computing workloads at CERN since August 2019, focusing on improving the Pilot-Job provisioning tool to enhance job execution rates on distributed grid resources. Prior to this role, Alexandre contributed to the Multimodal Information Group at the National Institute of Standards and Technology from April 2018 to June 2019, where Alexandre played a key role in the design and deployment of web evaluation infrastructures and cloud systems for benchmarking machine learning models, achieving notable operational metrics. Alexandre holds a PhD in Computer Science from Université Clermont Auvergne, along with a Master of Engineering in Computer Software Engineering from lSIMA Clermont-Ferrand and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from IUT Clermont Auvergne.
