Alison Lister

Alison Lister is an accomplished academic and physicist with extensive experience in higher education and research. Currently serving as the Associate Dean for faculty and student support at The University of British Columbia since October 2012, Alison focuses on the education and support of graduate and postdoctoral students as well as faculty. Prior to this role, Alison held various faculty positions including Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor. Alison's research credentials include a current position as a physicist at CERN, along with previous work at the University of Geneva and UC Davis, where Alison served as a Maitre Assistante and Postdoctoral Scholar, respectively. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Physics from ETH Zürich and an MPhys from the University of Oxford, supplemented by a Maturité fédérale in Sciences from Gymnase du Bugnon.
