Altan Cakir

Altan Cakir is a highly accomplished academic and entrepreneur with a strong background in data science, particle physics, and artificial intelligence. Currently serving as a Professor in the Department of Data Science and Analytics at Istanbul Technical University (ITU) since August 2015, Altan also holds positions as Co-Chair in AITR and ITU AI and is an Executive Board Member of the ITU AI Center. Additionally, Altan is Co-Founder and CIO of Adin AI and serves as Founder and CEO of Parton Big Data Analytics and Consulting. With extensive research experience at prestigious institutions like CERN, Fermilab, and DESY, Altan's expertise includes advanced data analysis, quantum field theory applications, and big data analytics. Education credentials include a Ph.D. in High Energy and Particle Physics from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and a Master's degree from the Izmir Institute of Technology.
